  Apple is reportedly planning on launching two different versions of the fourth generation of its AidPods this fall.  One model is expected to offer basic functionality but be affordably priced.  A more expensive model will offer active noise cancellation and is rumored to replace the current third-generation model in the lineup, according to Bloomberg. Part of the decision to replace the AirPods 3 in the lineup has to do with its charging case. The AirPods 3 use a Lightening cable for charging, while Apple’s lineup is transitioning to USB-C. Currently, Apple sells the AirPods 2 and AirPods 3 as well as the AirPods Pro. Beyond the case upgrade, the AirPods Pro is expected to get new firmware that Willard new head gesture controls as well as improved noise isolation.
