Champion Data Privacy As Fiercely As Good Governance – Firm Urges Nigerians

The Convener, DKIPPI, Mr Tokunbo Smith, told the press in Lagos that individuals should safeguard their data as fiercely as they were demanding for good governance. Smith said that as Nigerian youths embarked on a peaceful protest advocating for better governance, it was crucial to recognise that the fight extended beyond the streets and social media. He said that the fight reached to the very essence of the digital lives of citizens to the protection of personal data, especially in this era of technology.
