New AirPods Set to Join Apple's Fall 2024 Hardware Lineup

  Apple is reportedly planning on launching two different versions of the fourth generation of its AidPods this fall.  One model is expected to offer basic functionality but be affordably priced.  A more expensive model will offer active noise cancellation and is rumored to replace the current third-generation model in the lineup, according to Bloomberg. Part of the decision to replace the AirPods 3 in the lineup has to do with its charging case. The AirPods 3 use a Lightening cable for charging, while Apple’s lineup is transitioning to USB-C. Currently, Apple sells the AirPods 2 and AirPods 3 as well as the AirPods Pro. According to an insider source with knowledge of the project, the facilities are to be built on approximately 29,000 acres of land acquired in three states. The ground stations will be established in key locations in Okun Ajah Lagos State, Sagamu in Ogun State, and Port Harcourt. The Chief Executive Officer of the Educational Advancement Centre, Mr Muyiwa Bamgbose, said this while speaking with newsmen in Ibadan on Friday. Bamgbose, a computer expert, was passing comments on the recent examination conducted via CBT for 50,000 applicants for teaching appointments with the Oyo State Government. As a consultant to the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), the organiser of the examination, he attributed its success to the use of CBT. He said the examination, earlier scheduled for five days but compressed to three days, due to the nationwide protest, wouldn’t have been successful had CBT not been adopted.
